204 - Your First Consistent $1K Month Online: 5 Mistakes That Are Keeping You Stuck

The first $1K month online doesn't come from a massive audience or a complex funnel. It comes from understanding a simple math problem. Three to five people paying you $297 a month is $891 to $1485. That's your $1K month right there. Most coaches skip over this because they're looking at the $5K offer, the $10K program, the 10K audience they think they need first. But you don't need any of that to hit $1K a month. You need clear pricing, a small group of people who trust you, and one place to sell.

Here's what changes everything: put all the value in your podcast and sell your program directly. You don't need a freebie to warm people up when your podcast already shows what you know. Your listeners are there because they already trust you. Small groups change your whole pricing game too. With 3 to 5 people, you're closer to coaching than to a mass-market program, so you can price with confidence and raise that price every few months as you go. You're not racing to 100 students. You're building a sustainable business with the people who actually want your help.

The last piece is payment terms. A $297 offer doesn't compete with a monthly subscription to a cheap course, but a $297 offer that someone can pay over 6 months? That becomes accessible. You're not lowering your price to make it doable. You're just making it easier for the people who want it. Pre-sell from your podcast by teaching one element from each module before your launch. Show why each piece matters and how it all comes together. By the time you ask them to buy, your listeners will already understand your offer because you've been teaching the foundation the whole way through.
