203 - The 3 Social Media Posts Every Personal Brand Needs to Pin on Their Profile

Your pinned posts are one of the first things someone sees when they land on your profile. Most people pin their prettiest post or the one that got the most engagement or even a major life event. But here's the thing: the best-performing post and the best-converting pinned post are rarely the same thing. Your pinned posts aren’t about vanity metrics. It's about strategy.

Every personal brand needs 3 specific social media posts pinned on their profile.

The first is your About You/Intro pin. This is where you tie everything together. Who you are, what you teach, and how people access it. I share this in 3 ways: my podcast, my Facebook group, and my program. Your About You pin should make that crystal clear so someone landing on your profile understands exactly who you are and how to work with you.
The second pin is your Current CTA pin. This changes based on what you're actively launching or promoting. Right now it might be a challenge that's going live on your podcast. Next month it might be something different. This pin moves with your offer cycle.
The third pin is your Program/Offer/Freebie pin. Direct to your group program, a more specific podcast offer, or your free resource.

People land on your profile at different points in their journey. Some are just getting to know you. Some are ready to buy. These 3 pin types meet them where they are.

Beyond pins, use your highlights for the personal stuff. Behind-the-scenes, motherhood, faith, your own journey, how you use your tools. Those moments build connection and trust in a way strategy alone never can. Your highlights are where people see the real you. Your pins are where you show them the way forward.
