199 - Nobody Can Tell What You Do: The 5 Minute Message Fix That Builds Authority Online

Real talk: if even your biggest fans can't explain what you do in a paid sense, your dream clients definitely can't. I've seen it up close: a client whose audience adored her, and when people were asked what she does, all they could say was "she's great!" Lovely. Not bankable.

The good news: this is a message problem, not a you problem, and the fix takes about 5 minutes.

In this episode I walk you through the 3 steps: writing your authority statement (who you help, how you help them, and what you do, in ONE sentence), taking an honest look at your online presence through the eyes of someone who has never heard of you (your website, your socials, and what Google shows), and asking friends or family to tell you what they think you do so you can find the gaps you can't see yourself.

When your message is clear, you get a firm answer to "so what do you do?", your people can finally refer you, and getting found and chosen by your dream clients gets a whole lot easier.
